Hamad Aquatic Center holds five temperature-controlled pools, one of them an Olympic 50-meter competition pool, inside Aspire Zone — a sports hub built to international standards that has hosted world championships. Free swimming runs in the two below.

Before You Swim

A Few Simple Rules.

Swim Cap Required

A swim cap must be worn in all pools at all times.

Proper Swimwear Only

Appropriate swimwear is required. No street clothing in the water.

Shower Before Entry

Please shower before entering the pool to keep the water clean.

Children Under 8

Must be accompanied in the water by a supervising adult.

Family hours are reserved for women and families (parents with children). Women must wear a swim cap; cotton and tight or revealing clothing is not permitted. Children aged 4 and above are not allowed during ladies-only hours. The schedule may change for maintenance. Times are confirmed at the front desk.
